Lacey returns for Donegal

April 27, 2012

Donegal's Karl Lacey
Donegal defender Karl Lacey has returned to training following a hamstring injury.

The news of Lacey's return is welcomed, especially in the week that it has been revealed Michael Murphy will not be fit for the Ulster championship opener against Cavan.

Donegal meet Cavan at Breffni Park in three weeks time and Lacey's return is a huge boost for the county.

The All-Star defender had been struggling with a hamstring injury for the past number of weeks, but resumed full training this week as did Ryan Bradley, who also suffered a hamstring strain in recent weeks.
