Minors take on Armagh

April 27, 2012
Donegal minors play Armagh in the Ulster shield football final at Clones on Saturday afternoon.

The match is seen as ideal preparation for the Ulster championship and manager Stephen Friel admitted to the Donegal Democrat that there is still a number of places to be determined before the start of the championship.

"There are still a few places up for grabs in the team and fellas will get the opportunity on Saturday and two other games we have organised with Sligo and Monaghan the following weekend to stake a place on the team for Cavan."

The Shield final throws in at 12.45pm and it precedes the meeting of Tyrone and Derry in the Ulster minor league final.
