Red Hugh's made the journey to Carrick Field in Moville on an evening that began overcast with drizzle and continued to rain more heavily throughout the match. This was a meeting of two teams equal on points at the top of their northern board section league. Red Hugh's opened the scoring in the first minute with a well taken point, Josh Lafferty replied for Moville almost immediately before the visitors went a point ahead again on the fourth minute. Ronan Doherty got a goal for the home side after seven minutes with points from Ciaran Diver and Ronan Kelly, with his brother Conor Kelly hitting the back of the net after twelve minutes. Doherty added a point to his tally with Red Hugh's grabbing a goal after fourteen minutes, adding a point three minutes later. Shaun McClenaghan picked up his second booking twenty minutes into the game leaving Moville with fourteen players for the remainder of the match. The home side kept their composure and their shape to see out the first half though with points from Diver and R. Doherty extending their lead. Half time score: Moville (2 - 06): Red Hugh's (1 - 03)
The visitors had a great start to the second half scoring a goal and a point within the first three minutes but that would be the final time they would add to their score in this game. Moville began playing fast, free-flowing football, some of the best they played this season. Diver grabbed a goal and a point; Josh Lafferty scored two more points; Ronan Doherty, Billy McCann and Conor Doherty who came on as a sub all added goals leaving the final score: Moville (6 - 09): Red Hugh's (2 - 04)
Robert Emmets 4.03
Glenfin 4.16
Glenfin stayed in contention for a place in the final with a good win away to Robert Emmets. Glenfin scorers were Christopher McBearty 2-02, Christopher McGlynn 1-01, Conor Mcbride 0-04, Ethan O Donnell 0-04, Lorcan Donnellan 0-02, David Carr 0-02, Eoin McCrudden 0-01. Best for Glenfin were: Colm Quinn, Conor McBride and Christopher McBrearty.

Letterkenny Gaels 1.15
Glenswilly 1.08
Letterkenny Gaels recorded a well-deserved victory over Glenswilly in their final League match at Pairc na nGael on Sunday evening last. Both teams produced some good flowing football in the opening half. Cormac Callaghan with four points was the main architect of the Glen attacks but keeper Shane Graham and Conor Coll stood firm for the Gaels. Sean Mc Donagh 1-4 and Cormac Cannon 0.2 were very sharp in front of the posts. Half time Gaels 1-9 Glenswilly 0.6.
Ethan Sweeney (1-1), Paddy Diver and Anthony Ward worked hard for the visitors in the second half with their never say die attitude. But Gaels continued with their excellent teamwork and will now await other results hoping that they have enough done to qualify for the playoffs.
