Three games into the 2012 season St Benedict's are holding their own in the highly competitive Pennine League Division 1. A hard fought win over St Lawrences in Manchester was sandwiched between two narrow defeats against Cu Chulainns (Newcastle) and John Mitchels (Liverpool). Training continues twice weekly at Activzone (fitness) and Roundhegians (football), numbers have been good so far and anyone interested in coming along will be made welcome.
