Tir Conaill Harps GAC Glasgow seek challenges
January 23, 2012
The club are currently in the process of beginning pre- season training. We are hoping to organise matches for the teams within the club, Hurling/ Camogie and Gaelic Football. If there are any teams that would like to play a challenge match against Tir Conaill Harps please contact
[email protected].
Under 8 and Under 10's training will be taking place at St Fillans Primary School on a Thursday from 6- 8pm, and on a Wednesday at St Mungo's from 7- 8pm. The club are currently promoting themselves in various schools throughout Glasgow in partnership with the GAA. It is hoped this partnership will help the development of the club for years to come.
Women's Camogie training is also taking place at Glasgow Green, Sunday's from 1:30pm.
The club is also sending coaches to the Ulster GAA Conference, being held in Cookstown, Northern Ireland, at the end of January. This is an essential conference for clubs to attend as it helps build social contacts as well as giving coaches insight into new coaching techniques and coaching methods.
The club will be holding the annual dinner dance at The Crowne Plaza, Glasgow, on Saturday 19th May. We still need volunteers to help with the organisation of this night so any sort of help would be greatly appreciated. If you are interested in booking a table then please email
[email protected]. Further information regarding ticket prices etc will follow.
