McGuinness looks ahead

Donegal manager Jim McGuinness
Donegal manager Jim McGuinness is already thinking of the Ulster championship.
Despite, only the second round of the Dr McKenna Cup being played this weekend, McGuinness admits that they are already planning ahead for the summer months.
On Sunday, Donegal face Cavan in what will be a dress rehearsal for the opening round of the Ulster championship, but McGuinness knows that they will learn very little from their opponents this weekend.
"Our main aim is Cavan in the Ulster championship in May and trying to win that game. We'll be trying to look at everyone within the squad and give them a chance in the next couple of weeks and months and we'll make our decisions on that," McGuinness told the Donegal Democrat.
"We'll continue to experiment and give fellas a chance on Sunday. It is more about training and getting fellas back in shape over the next couple of weeks. We gave a number of lads a run out against UUJ and we hope to give another few a run out against Cavan."
