Setanta back in action

The Setanta club has been reinstated back into all competition after unpaid fees were paid in full, but Donegal's sole hurling outfit are now facing a further investigation.

Last week, the club was told by the county board that they were being expelled from all club competitions over unpaid administration fees, but this week Croke Park informed Donegal County Board that the monies had been paid and the club was subsequently reinstated to all competitions.

However, the county board have now launched an investigation into allegations that Setanta played illegal players in certain matches, while they now owe the county board fees.
