The Inishowen GAA Board are proud to announce, following an agreement with the second level schools
in Inishowen, they have been successful in their application to compete in Ulster Colleges Football
Competitions for season 2010 - 2011 and will field as an agalmated team under the name Colaisti Inis Eoghain.
Initially they will compete for one year in The Ranafast Cup and the Corn na nOg Cup
Their first ever game at this level will be against St Michael's Enniskillen in mid September and co inciding
with the appointment as Donegal senior football manager, it has been a great week for Donegal GAA.

Much work has already been done by many people over the past 6 months to ensure this novel idea,
helps to bring top class colleges football to Inishowen and which will hopefully do much to raise the standard
of schools football in the peninsula and also in Donegal. The board have already been responsible for running
a successful primary schools coaching scheme for the past 6 years, with 2 full time coaches visitinG over 30
schools on a weekly basis and this next step was seen as a natural progression in that area.
