A Presentation night for Referees will take place in Jacksons Hotel Ballybofey on Friday 4th December at 8.30pm. This will be an ideal opportunity for a end of season get together and to reminiscent about the year gone.

Anyone interested in doing a hurling foundation award course should forward their names to Coaching Officer Seamus Mc Anaw 0851742434 or Games Development Manager Mick Murphy 0866003159. Fee is 30 and participants must be 16 years old or over.

On this coming Thursday (November 26th) at 8.00pm in the Burt GAA Clubrooms, the AGM of the Donegal Camogie Board will take place. All interested in the promotion of the game in the county are very welcome. 2009 saw a very successful year at underage resulting in the 30 Donegal U/14 Camogie players playing in Croke Park on October 26th last. The focus of the board will be on underage in the coming years. The Camogie board would encourage representation at the AGM from all those clubs involved in hurling in the county.

The GAA have teamed up with Vodafone Ireland as an official "Give Back Partner". This alliance with Vodafone Ireland provides Clubs with a terrific new opportunity to raise funds.
With the Vodafone Support Your GAA Club programme 5% of a Vodafone Ireland customer's mobile phone Pay Monthly bill or Top Up will go to a customer's nominated GAA Club once a Club and customer has registered, without costing Vodafone Ireland customers a cent extra.
Funds can be used by Clubs for facility improvements, training gear, jerseys and expenses that assist in improving the day to day running of the Club. Customers nominate their preferred GAA Club then Vodafone Ireland will donate 5% of their Pay Monthly bill or Top Up to the customer's chosen Club, whether the customer is a club member or not.. The more people that sign up, the more money Clubs receive. There will be additional incentives for each Club whose members or supporters switch from their current network to Vodafone Ireland.
The programme is open to all Clubs on the island of Ireland and Club members and supporters using mobile phones on the Vodafone Ireland network. At present, the programme does not extend to those on the Vodafone UK network. If by the end of the year this position still exists, Vodafone Ireland will ensure that Clubs in the six counties can benefit fully from the programme.
Vodafone Ireland will shortly be communicating with each Club and sending each Club a pack that will allow you to register for the programme. This registration pack is also available to download on www.supportyourgaaclub.ie. Each Club must be registered in order to receive funds.
Club members and supporters also need to register at www.supportyourgaaclub.ie and nominate their GAA club.
