Notes
After the success of last week, this will be another busy weekend for the County. The Senior Hurlers take pride of place as they travel to Croke Park to play neighbours Tyrone in the Final of the Lory Meagher Cup at 12 noon on Saturday. This will be only the 3rd appearance of our Hurling team in Croke Park in over 85 years. The previous games in 1923 against Limerick and in 2006 against Derry ended in defeat so they will be hoping to make it third time lucky. We would encourage as many people as possible to come and give their support to the team in this vital game.
The Senior footballers will be in action again in McCumhaill Park on Saturday when the take on Clare in the 2nd round qualifier of Senior Football Championship.

GAA 125th Year celebrations
As part of our GAA 125th Year celebrations, A Club Wall is being elected outside the entrance to the GAA Museum in Croke Park. The role of the club forms a central part of the GAA, and in recognition of this, every GAA club will have their club crest represented on this wall. Clubs who have yet to submitted their crest, have until tomorrow evening to do so by email in Jpeg format to County Development Officer Charlie Cannon at
[email protected] Further information is available from Charlie on 087 6949125
In addition to the Club Wall, a new interactive database is being compiled by the GAA Museum to provide information about Clubs to both GAA members and the public. The database will be a key installation in the Museum and each club is being sent their own log in to input their details online. This will take no more than 10 minutes.
