The club would like to extend congratulations to the Naomh Mhuire club on their promotion to Division 1B, a great achievement indeed. Let,Äôs hope that we will cross swords again, in Division 1B very soon indeed. The reserves were in action last week with the final league game at home to league champions Naomh Columba. Unfortunately, given the conditions and players otherwise engaged we came out on the wrong side of the result on the day. A minutes silence took place before the start of the game in memory of the late Dessie Mc Nulty who was a reserve panel member this season, may he rest in peace. It is encouraging the reserves fielded for all but one of their fixtures this year. It is felt by all involved that there is definitely a future for the reserve side in the club, and it is essential if the Seniors are going to progress to the senior grade next season. The club are holding an end of season party in Jamesie,Äôs Bar on 6/12/08 at 9pm for all senior players, club committee, and partners. Buffet food will be served and music is by Stevie G. All Welcome!! As stated previously, the club have launched the new grand draw to aid the development of training and floodlight facilities at Pairc Naomh Brid. The tickets are priced at ,Ǩ20, with 3 family tickets for ,Ǩ50. Club players & members will be calling at the houses of the community and beyond in the coming weeks and months so please be patient and support this very worthy cause to further progress the personal development of the children of the community on the sports field.
