Congratulations to the Donegal County Council team on winning the Ulster Inter-Firms Championship by beating Heron Brothers Ltd (Derry) in the Final, they now play Connaught champions in the All-Ireland Semi final. Congratulations to Jimmy White on being chosen to referee at the annual Asian 7-a-side tournament in Bahrain. He flies out on Friday next November 21 from Dublin to take charge of all the games in the Asian Games 7-a-side football tournament that takes place over next weekend and he will return again five days later on Tuesday November 25. The Donegal G.A.A. coaching committee are holding a coaching workshop this Thursday evening 20th November in Glenswilly at 7.30 p.m. entitled " DEVELOPING SPEED, BALANCE, STRENGTH + COORDINATION " in the young player. There is a Dental trauma information evening being held on this Thursday 20th November between 7pm and 9.00pm in the Templemore Sports Complex Derry City, this will give the proper guidelines in dealing with mouth injuries in contact sports like GAA, it is a free course and the clubs in Inishowen and north Donegal can avail of this programme. The County Underage Forum will be held in Jacksons Hotel, Ballybofey, on Wednesday 26th November at 8.00 p.m. All Clubs are asked to have two delegates present at this Forum. It is very important that all clubs make the effort to attend as all rules and regulations governing the Underage structure for the running of our games in 2009 will be discussed. A review of The Donegal Hurling Development Plan will take place in the coming weeks. The Draw for the semi-finals of the under 21A football championship was made recently.
