Barton gets green light

As expected, Damian Barton's reappointment as Derry senior football manager got the green light from club delegates last night's County Board meeting.
The 1993 All-Ireland winner and his backroom team of Tony Scullion, Brian McGuckin and Hugh McGrath received unanimous backing at the meeting in Owenbeg.
Meanwhile, Fergal McCusker and Damian McErlain will remain in charge of the Oak Leaf County's U-21 and minor teams respectively.
