Ballinderry's Ryan Bell. INPHO
Ballinderry 1-8
Scotstown 0-10

A late Ryan Bell point saw Ballinderry scrape over Scotstown in the Ulster Club SFC quarter-final at Clones yesterday.

The game was delicately poised entering the closing stages by Bell broke Scotstown hearts with a point in the final minute.

The hosts led by 0-5 to 0-4 at the halfway stage and they extended their lead to four points by the 42nd minute thanks to points from Brian McGinnity, Darrey Hughes and Shane Carey.

Ballinderry responded with pointed frees by Colin Devlin (two) and Conleth Gilligan and then substitute Darren Conway struck for the only goal of the game.

White flags from Kieran Hughes (free) and James Turley restored parity for Scotstown and set up an exciting finish but Bell had the final say.
