Fundamentals Course
Greenlough Underage Management have arranged for a six week Fundmentals training course to take place starting from Thursday 2nd February 2012. The course will be aimed at boys and girls in Primary 1, 2 & 3 and will be taken by Fionntán O'Dowd, a Primary School Coach for the Ulster GAA.
Details of the six week programme are on the club website and will take place from 6 - 7pm in the OP hall. Week 1 (2nd February) is for parents only.
Notices will be issued to the school and it will be advertised in the bulletin over the next two weeks. Costs for players will be same as football on Friday nights £1.50. Children will take part from 9th February and will be held instead of their Friday night session for the next 5 weeks.
Primary 4 & 5 will train at the earlier slot of 6.30 - 7.30 on a Friday night during these weeks.
We need as many parents as possible to take part to make the sessions worthwhile.

Reminder for U6 - U12 Players' Parents
Parents of Under 6, Under 8, Under 10 and Under 12 players are reminded to please fill in and return the forms they were issued with last Friday as soon as possible.
Youth Presentation Night
To recognize the hard work and efforts of all of our under players, parents, coaches and managers over the last year, St Oliver Plunkett's GAC, Greenlough are now hosting an underage presentation night on Saturday 4th February 2012, at 8.30pm (directly after mass) in our newly refurbished club function room, in the Pavilion.
All parents and underage players, from under 8, up to under 16, are ask to please come along and join in the celebration. Every player will receive an award from our guest speaker to recognize their participation with the club during 2011, while our Under 16 team, who won their league, will be presented with their medals and trophy. The Under 16 player of the year award will also be presented on the night. There will also be light refreshments served on the night.
Senior and Reserve Training
Senior and Reserve training continues on Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm. Tuesday night in club gym, Thursday in the school. Players reminded to bring trainers both nights. All players, inlcuding those who are currently not training but intend play later in the year are asked to attend on Tuesday night for a meeting with management.
Club Function Room Available to Hire
The newly refurbished St Oliver Plunkett's GAC, Greenlough, Club Function Rooms are now available to hire for birthday parties, anniversaries and functions. Fully Licensed Bar, Jukebox, Pool Table, Surround Sound Stereo System, Big Screen TV, Catering Facilities.
