O DONOVAN ROSSA GAC MAGHERAFELT
CONGRATULATIONS ROSSA DERRY CHAMPIONS

This weeks congratulations goes to our Scor na nOg team Congratulations to the entire Rossa Scor Na nOg Team. Niall Sexton won the County Solo Singing category at Glenullin, and Eimear McColum, Edel Gilligan, Lauren Millar, Eimear Kearney and Rachel Walsh who make up the Rossa Ballad Group also won their category . They all go on to to represent Derry in the Ulster Semi final in Glenullin this Saturday night 5th December at 7 pm against Donegal and Tyrone. Congratulations also to the Novelty Act comprising of Eadaoin Smylie, Ellie Mc Guckin, Ellen Young, Laoise Kerr, Shea Donnelly, Matthew Millar, Oran Kerr and Oisin Quinn who were runners up and also received county medals each. We would also like to thank the competitors in the Quiz team, Niall higgins, Anton Mc Elhone and Brian Devlin on making it to the final. Thanks also to Aimee Mc Guckin for representing Rossa in the recitations and to the instrumental group comprising of Connaire Bradley, Eimear Cassidy, Ellen Young, Caoimhe Purvis and Meadbh Mc Elroy. Last but not least I would personally like to thank Jane Millar, the mentor for these groups for her huge input in her first years involvement in the club and Scor and for all the time and effort she has put in. Hopefully this will continue as we progress in to the Ulster semi finals. They all done Rossa proud. Rossa Abu. We would ask any supporter of the Club , if you want a good nights entertainment and an opportunity to cheer on your club, please try and make your way to Glenullin this Saturday night at 7 pm for the Ulster semi finals. Your attendance would be very much appreciated.

CLUB AGM DATE SET.

Wednesday 16th December at 7pm has been set aside for this years AGM. Nomination papers will be arriving with adult members soon. Everyone is welcome to the AGM, however only members will have a vote.

ROSSA OG PRIMARY COACHING CONTINUES.

.All primary school girls and boys up to P6 are asked to be at Meadowbank at 11.45 for a 12;00 start. All newcomers are more than welcome so spread the word.

ALL IRELAND FEILE 2010

Anyone interested in hosting players for next years All Ireland Feile which is being held in Co. Derry should contact Feile Officer Martin Donnelly on 07958047318 as soon as possible. It is imperative that all parents of U 14 boys and girls and any other club members who would like to be a host family contact me as soon as possible.



CLUB ROSSA
Club members are currently knocking on doors in order to gain support for our Club Rossa initiative. Callers are requesting a monthly direct debit in order to finance the completion and running of our much needed £600,000 new training field project. This project is now well advanced as anyone who has been around the grounds lately will have seen. If you would like to be part of the investment in our future generations and haven't yet been contacted, forms will be available from any committee member.
