Ulster VS SFC: Tyrone into final

Tyrone secured their place in this year's Ulster Vocational Schools SFC final following a comfortable 0-14 to 1-6 victory over Derry at Cookstown yesterday.

The Red Hands laid the foundations for their win in the first half when scores from Shea McGuigan, Darragh Donnelly, Conor McCreesh and Shea Tennyson helped them to a 0-10 to 0-1 interval lead.

Derry improved after the restart, but were far too reliant on full forward Shane Farren for scores.

He accounted for all of their scores, including a goal from a close-in free in stoppage-time.
