Well don't want to mention specifics but they just think he is a spoofer who shouldn't be in charge of senior team.
Now i am using poetic license but unlike some of our players a fair few who would be on team have made themselves unavailable due to just not buying into mod.

they should just buy into the honour of playing for their county, taking the easy way out if they are blaming the manager for not playing.

Royaldunne. Thats absolute nonsense you're spouting. If our best players like Bryan Menton, Donal Keoghan, Graham Reilly, Micky Newman, Stephen Bray etc. all row in behind MOD, why would a talented club player with half a shot at a panel place reckon he's too good to play for the Meath senior team under MOD? Who do they think they are to refuse a Meath jersey? We could do without big time charlies like that to be honest, who only play by their terms.

We understand that you absolutely hate MOD being manager, but your criticisms are getting ridiculous.

The proof is in the pudding. Lets see if there are any contenders for the Meath team and look out for standout performances in the championships. North Meath clubs in particular. And then see how Meath get on next year in the championship if these lads aren't selected. The talent is there if you look hard enough but Mick will not look beyond anyone over the age of 25 for promotion to county football. Rules out the possibility of unearthing a gem.

Hannigan and Melia? I don't think so to be honest.Young has been roasted whenever he has played corner back for Meath.

Great, another forum for people to suggest average players from their own clubs who should be on the county panel, same teams occurring every time, It's quality we need, not promotions for big clubs

i agree bobby o brien is known for throwing his toys out of the pram when things dont go his way on the field, if this can be managed he should surely be on the panel.

Mod jhas to play his top players it simple as that ,
Carroll top player at club in meath this year as I said he should be in the forward line
The best player to place the ball ,
Cooper does it for kerry , Carroll same type of player.
Mod should sort out the problem with Carroll ,

micho81- most of the players you list are very average even with their own clubs and many have been substituted in championship matches-fact

If true, then obviously MOD has not got the support that people think, which I would have suspected.

Ziggy. He hasn't got the support of about 30% of the players, and i am hearing a fair few lads either wont make themselves available or have decided to call it a day .

Christ above if there's 30% of the panel not going back the CB is once more in reactive mode and burying the heads in the sand. Surely the players should have had some input into whats going. If Stephen bray (and maybe he's retiring anyway) isn't getting involved then the county board needs to start asking questions.

There's a rotten stench hanging round the county at the moment.

A manager reappointed unopposed and with no selectors.
First championship defeat by Westmeath
The aforementioned possible 30% players not returning from 2015 panel

Watching the Sunday game yesterday and was struck by how the panel discussed Mayo and Dublin having certain styles and how they needed years to bed in. We're 3 years into the MOD reign and I still don't know what his style of play is, so how as a county and panel of players can anyone expect progress when its constant chop and change from game to game.

I'm very seriously worried for 2016
