Leitrim County Council will honour the county's senior hurlers at a civic reception later this month.
The Connacht side lifted the Lory Meagher Cup in dramatic style after the defeated Lancashire in the final at Croke Park last June.
To mark that occasion, the Leitrim County Council will host the reception at Áras an Chontae, Carrick-on-Shannon on Friday, September 20th at 8pm.
Hurling in the county is on a high at the moment as Carrick became the first club from the county to win a Connacht title last November, while the county's under-17 squad won the Celtic Challenge earlier this year.
