The cancellation of today's Leinster Club SFC final came as a big disappointment to St Loman's manager Luke Dempsey.

Dempsey was due to renew acquaintances with his former Moorefield charges but a snow covered O'Moore Park left Leinster GAA with no option but to postpone the decider.

It has been re-fixed for next Sunday at the Portlaoise venue.

"It is what it is, we have no control over the weather," Dempsey said in an interview with Midlands Sport today.

"We'll be back on Tuesday night. The lads can relax today and we'll take it from there but it is disappointing.

"You have everything psyched up and ready to go. Then the carpet is pulled from under you so to speak."
