Hill 16 closed for this weekend
August 19, 2008
Hill 16 will be closed for this Sunday's All-Ireland SFC semi-final between Cork and Kerry, it has emerged.
The GAA confirmed yesterday that Cork and Kerry will be kicking into an empty side at Croke Park as no terrace tickets will be put on sale.
The section was opened last weekend for the meetings of Dublin and Tyrone in the SFC and Tipperary and Waterford in the SHC, after being closed for Wexford's SFC quarter-final win over Armagh.
Fans with intentions of travelling from the Munster province aren't expected to be pleased with not having the option to purchase cheaper tickets.
