Cork selector expects tough test from Tipp

Cork may have qualified for the McGrath Cup final without breaking sweat, but selector Ger O'Sullivan is expecting that to change when they travel to face Tipperary in Clonmel on Sunday.

"I expect Tipp to be strongly supported following their All-Ireland minor triumph last year which has given football in the county a huge boost, so they will be going all out to produce a big performance, and we are looking forward to having to deal with that," he told the Corkman.

Meanwhile, half back Paudie Kissane was pleased with Cork's performance in their 2-17 to 0-7 semi-final demolition of CIT last Sunday.

"Another improvement on last week, we had a lot of changes to the team for this game so a lot of guys are getting game time and that is very important," said the Clyda Rovers player, who bagged 1-1.

"We got a great start today and we were able to build on that so that is very encouraging for us all."
