Donal Og Hodnett and Hugh Curran scored 1-11 between them as Cork IT cruised to a comfortable victory over IT Tralee, which sets up a semi-final meeting with Cork next weekend.

Played at the CIT Sports Stadium, the game became a one-sided affair in the second half after the hosts had taken a 0-9 to 1-4 lead into the break. Gary O'Driscoll's 10th minute goal put Tralee 1-1 to 0-2 ahead, but their Cork counterparts took control thereafter with Hodnet finishing with a haul of 1-6 and Curran with 0-5, 0-4 of which came in the opening half.

Cork IT put the result beyond doubt early in the second half when they scored an unanswered 1-3, with the goal coming from Kevin Hallissey. Barry O'Hare replied with Tralee's second goal, only for Jerry O'Connor to cancel it out in the closing stages. Tweet
