Cork are set to be without All Star forward James Masters after the Nemo Rangers attacker took the decision to withdraw himself from Conor Counihan's panel.
Masters informed Counihan this week that he would be unavailable for selection for the foreseeable future with a lack of game time believed to be the motive behind the 27-year-old's decision.
"James is no longer a part of the panel. He informed me that he wanted to step out of the squad and I respect his decision," said Counihan.
Some reports have suggested that Masters' club-mates Sean O'Brien and Conor McCarthy were also no longer involved in the Rebels' set-up.
However, the Cork boss said: "There are people coming in and out of the squad at the moment and they haven't been finalised."
