Galvin appeal tonight
February 25, 2010

Kerry's Paul Galvin
Paul Galvin appears before the CHC tonight, bidding to escape an eight-week ban.
The current Footballer of the Year was sent off during Kerry's NFL Division One defeat to Cork at Pairc Ui Rinn on February 13, for wrestling with Eoin Cadogan off the ball.
An eight-week ban has been proposed by the Central Competitions Control Committee and Galvin has opted to take his case before the Central Hearings Committee.
If Galvin's bid is unsuccessful, he will not be available again until the final round of league games, in which the Kingdom face Monaghan on April 11.
Rebel County dual star Cadogan is also taking his case before the CHC on Thursday night. The Cork man was also sent off for his part in the altercation with Galvin and has been proposed for a four-week ban.
