Rovers and Sarsfields clash this weekend in SHC final

September 26, 2008
Along with the Ladies All-Ireland final, the Cork Senior Hurling Championship final takes centre-stage this weekend in the Rebel County with Bride Rovers and Sarsfields battling it out to decide the county's 2008 champions. Sarsfields will be out to add a third senior title to their previous collections, captured back in the 1950's, with their fluent style of play but their east Cork neighbours will be out to stop them. Bride Rovers on the other hand are gunning for a first SFC crown since making their debut to the senior stage back in 2004 and are well known for their rugged approach. The two teams collide this Sunday, September 28, with a throw-in time of 4.00pm scheduled for Paírc Uí Chaoimh.
