Cork County Board Chairman Mick Dolan has expressed the view that outgoing football supremo Conor Counihan can lead the Rebels to the All-Ireland SFC title in the "near future." Dolan has come out in support of Counihan's re-appointment but the post will not be decided upon until the Cork County Board meet after the conclusion of the county club championships in early October. "Conor did a great job with the team this year," Dolan declared, "and I'd be optimistic that he'd lead us to an All-Ireland in the near future. "I'd enjoy following a team that Conor was in charge of. I don't imagine there'd be much opposition to him continuing." Tweet
