Clare defender Dean Ryan is in no doubt that Limerick will be on top of their game when the sides meet in the Munster SFC on Sunday.

The Gaelic Grounds hosts this clash at the weekend and Clare go in as Division Three champions, while Limerick languish in Division Four.

However, Ryan stressed to the Clare Champion that when the sides meet there is very little between them.

"It's championship now and all that matters is the first game against Limerick. That's where our season is really going to start," said Ryan.

"They might be coming in as underdogs but they'll be looking at our success in the league and they'll be thinking they can have a right cut off us. They're not going to come in lying down. We're going to have nothing easy and we have to be prepared."
