Wolfe Tones manager James Carigg believes that the supporters played their part in their Munster club IHC semi-final win over Limerick Bruree.

The Clare champions made the trip to Kilmallock last Sunday and they brought with them a huge support which Carigg state to the Clare Champion that the players were delighted to see.

"It was great to see the support," said Carigg. "It's a club thing; it's not just about this bunch of players.

"It's about the whole thing during the year, the minors, the juniors and the academy, which is flying. It's been driven by the committee and we have a great committee."

He added: "If you have the results, you get success from those results. It's great to see young fellas around here with hurleys. It's buzzing at the moment and long may it continue."
