Wolfe Tones captain Gary Leahy has hailed their IFC title win over Corofin.

Leahy led the Shannon based club to the county title and he admitted to the Clare Champion that it was a special feeling to win the title.

"It's massive. The lads have given so much," said Leahy. It's an absolute privilege to be playing with them. I'd do anything for them, like they did for us and our family," added Leahy whose father passed away earlier in the year.

"Our big aim was to get back up senior. We got lucky, getting the replay, but we're just delighted now."
