Minors must regroup

April 18, 2014
Clare minor hurlers now turn their attention to Kerry as they plan to get their campaign back on track.

This week's defeat to All-Ireland champions resulted in a lot of positives for the management team and they will be quietly confident of defeating Kerry in a Munster MHC play.

However, Tipperary are also in the three-way play off and should Clare advance from this group, then they will face Waterford again in the Munster semi final.

Clare will not be looking that far ahead and Kerry will be their focus next Wednesday night when the sides meet at Cusack Park.

The Banner will once again be without defender Ben O'Gorman, who had his appendix removed, while Ciaran Cooney could also miss out as he recovers from a knee injury.
