Clare seek funding to complete projects

The banner has plans to upgrade facilities at Cusack Park, Ennis, while they are also hoping to complete their training grounds at Caherlohan.
Architect Niall Fitzgerald told delegates at a recent county board meeting that the cost of the projects mentioned will be in the region of €2.35 million.
Work must be carried out on Cusack Park in order to comply with the Slattery Report and bring the capacity back up to 21,000.
County board chairman Michael O'Neill told delegates that they have €1.8 million, but stated that the €550,000 will have to be 'borrowed'. Tweet
