A number of motions have been passed to alter the Clare championships.

In the senior football championship; a knockout system will be introduced where 16 teams will compete in an open draw and the first round losers getting a second chance.

The senior hurling championship will revert to an 'A' and 'B' format for the next two years before returning to a knockout system in 2014. Tweet
