The reconvened AGM of Sixmilebridge GAA Club was held in the clubhouse meeting room on Sunday last. There were a number of changes to the club executive at the meeting with tributes paid to outgoing officers PJ Fitzpatrick, Rory Liddane, Pat Chaplin and Sean Griffin for their efforts over the years.

On the managerial side of things the Senior, Junior A and U21 management were returned to their respective positions. Meanwhile, Pat Morey is the new Intermediate manager taking over from Pat Corbett who was thanked for his efforts over the past few years. A proposal on the night to enter a fourth team at Junior B or C grade was also discussed and a decision on this will be made in the coming weeks. The formation of a general club committee will also be looked into.

New Clare senior hurling manager Davy Fitzgerald was present at the meeting and was congratulated on becoming the first Sixmilebridge club member to take on that role.
