Ruan easily defeated Ennistymon in the Intermediate hurling championship last weekend. The winners came through on a 4-12 to 0-9 scoreline with John Punch (1-2), Aidan Lynch (2-2) and Brendan Lyons getting the goals. Ennistymon were without Clare minor hurler Cathal Malone but in his absence Tommy Hogan did well with 0-8 from placed balls. With Sixmilebridge and Ruan safely through to the last eight, the vanquished will battle it out with Bodyke for the third and final quarter final spot. Tweet
