O'Connor expects physical test

Clare joint minor manager Gerry O'Connor feels that Dublin's physical strength will pose the Banner problems in Sunday's All-Ireland semi final.

O'Connor and co-manager Donal Moloney watched the Dubs defeat Antrim in the All-Ireland MHC quarterfinal last week and despite their physical presence, the Clare manager is confident that his charges can cope with the test.

"Physically, they are way bigger that us; they are similar to Limerick. We watched DVDs of their games. Dublin matched Kilkenny far better than Galway did. They only place they didn't match Kilkenny was on the scoreboard. They are very good in the air and we are facing a difficult test," said O'Connor.

"We have a tough challenge on our hands. Underage hurling in Dublin is good and it is also string at colleges' level. Their under-21 team are the Leinster champions. Hurling is going well in Dublin."
