Hegarty takes the reins at St Joseph's

Two-time Clare All-Ireland winner Fergal Hegarty has taken over as senior trainer of the St Joseph's, Doora-Barfield club for the 2010 season.

The Kilnamona clubman succeeds Patsy Fahy in the role, who has take the Clare senior camogie manager's position for this season.

Hegarty has been involved with the Inagh-Kilnamona and Kilmoyley management teams in recent years and is set to keep Vinnie Sheedy as a selector in his management team, with at least one more new selector to be appointed.
