Hurlers poised for Laois test
February 26, 2010
Clare will look to make it two wins from two this Sunday when they venture to Portlaoise to play Niall Rigney's Laois side in the second round of the National Hurling League Division Two.
Ger O'Loughlin's team impressed last weekend in their opening game of the competition when they totally dominated Down to run out 20-point winners. They face a Laois side which have yet to play a game in the NHL after having their opening fixture with Kildare postponed due to heavy snow.
The O'Moore men have enjoyed a good start to their season though, having defeated All-Ireland champions Kilkenny in the Walsh Shield recently and will look to continue their winning ways as they build towards the summer and Leinster SHC.
These two teams meet this Sunday, February 28, at O'Moore Park, where throw-in has been arranged for 2.30pm.
