Clare's Brian O'Connell gets in his strike against Tipperary
Clare hurling captain Brian O'Connell reckons the Banner proved their heart with Sunday's brave fightback against Tipp.
Mike McNamara's charges gave the Premier County a real fright at Limerick and O'Connell says this should stand to them in the Qualifiers:
"In our own county we had been knocked, our heart had been questioned. We proved that we have heart and that we love playing for Clare.
"It's a joy for us to wear our jersey. When that was questioned, we had to come up with answers.
"They got a good lead on us and after that it was trying to peg them back. In the second half, we gave them a couple of more points but credit to ourselves for digging in."
