Intermediates prepare for Cork test
June 19, 2009
Clare intermediate hurling manager Kevin Kennedy feels that his charges are in the right frame of mind for Sunday's Munster semi final clash against Cork.
The Rebels looked outstanding in their quarterfinal win over Tipperary and enter this match as strong favourites, while Clare have yet to play a game in the championship.
However, Kennedy is confident that the side can lift their game to the necessary level and cause a surprise against Cork on Sunday.
"It's been difficult to get the lads together on a regular basis because of club fixtures, but we have had a few games and these have gone well. We are working away, but it is not easy," said Kennedy.
"We know that Cork have been together for a while and they have a lot of hurling played, but we will make it difficult for them."
