Castlerahan club notes

June 11, 2018

Cavan seniors

Well done to the Cavan senior team and management and the Castlerahan representatives on the panel - Cian Mackey, Enda Flanagan and Oisin Kiernan - who got their Qualifier campaign up and running with a comprehensive victory over Wicklow on Saturday evening last. They will face Down in round 2. Fixture to be confirmed.

We have use of the community blotto for the next three weeks and your support would be greatly appreciated. Tickets are sold every Saturday morning outside the Post Office, Greene's Pharmacy, Centra and Mace. They're also available in some local businesses and in the pubs around town on Saturday nights. The jackpot currently stands at €10,000. Please support! Similarly, if you can offer some time to help sell blotto tickets, please contact Brian on 086 1077 471.

Denn Legends Cup

Thank you to the lads who donned the maroon jersey last Saturday afternoon to relive some of the glory days of old. It was an enjoyable afternoon's entertainment in the sunshine and warmth in Crosskeys. The lads were defeated in the shield final by neighbours Crosserlough. Well done to the organising committee and all who took part.
