Killygarry For Senior Title

(Oldest Posts First)

I believe that if anyone is to take the title from cavan gaels, there is only one team capable, killygarry under the guidance of a management team with top class experience will be a tough team to beat, while they have lost 2 of their regular players to western shamrocks in perth, they will have the services of jamie coffey, john lyng and rumours of another new addition to a team already boasting the best keeper in cavan paddy galligan, eoin smith, andy mc govern, martin reilly and word of damian flynn making a comeback i think that this could be their year, any thoughts.......

not sure why brennan left, but you cant blame a lad for trying to better himself, although him and lyng will have a lot to do to make up for the loss of their ace goal poacher to perth, although damian flynn looks like a man whos almost finished, dont be fooled hes still quite a handful and lethal from his penalty spot

Saw Killygarry against Cavan Gaels last year and they were poor very poor to say the least and too reliant on that small young man Martin Reilly!! If u knew anything about football u wouldn't start a sillly thread like this!!

I wouldn't give them much chance tbh. But would love to see them doing better. Drumalee too. Cavan town and it's hinterland needs a better spread of the talent.

i think someone is messing here that damien flynn guy wasnt even in the killygarry thirds last year.but i do think killygarry has what it takes theyre the closest to the gaels in the county.

thats nonsence, denn havent a hope, they've had their days in the sun, killygarry are the only team capable of competin with the gaels, and are definetly a team for the future with a great under age structure, also the appointment of christopher mc govern as youth development officer for the club is a great move

Chunkylover get your facts right! Flynn was on the 3rd team by choice, apparently he was getting disillusioned with the way GAA is headed, money grabbers and all that, so he wanted to get back to basics and grass root level! He felt third team football was the way our forefathers would have played and would have wanted him to play! Its a shame theres not more like him

Denn and Killygarry combined wouldn't keep the ball kicked out......

never mind killygarry or denn..kgary havent the physique to compete with the gaels and denn havent the class..castlerahan gowna mullahoran n mayb belturbet are the only ones who can realistically beat the gaels..i no denn have been in the finals but they just arent good enuf

face it lads the pick of the rest would not beat them... they are the best team this county has produced in years, pity for them that a lack of sucess outside cavan will taint their memories, i would imagine the 4 lads who got red cards against st. galls felt pretty embarrassed St.Paddys day
