V one sided 2.14 to 0.07
Dublin keeper was terrible. Was the cause of the first goal after a few minutes. Bad kick outs and kicked a few over the side line. I'd have changed him after 10 minutes. It was effectively over as a contest at halftime.
Cavan were very good, very mobile and very fast. Dublin had one or two chances but didn't convert. On a damp night and greasy pitch there was some excellent football played. We've had Dublin in the final for the past three years. Lost narrowly 2 years ago and missed a peno, beat them last year and hammered them this year. It's probably the last year these young lads get to express themselves on the field wearing a Cavan jersey before they are stifled into a system. This is a great tournament for U16's, brilliantly supported - huge crowd at matches and its a credit to Oldcastle who run it every year. Its sad that its in honour of a young lad who lost his life in 1987

Thanks for that StirringIt

Read the Celt today, think it was a copied and pasted report!
Anyway, lets hope these youngsters are nurtured and encouraged to play good football. Well done to all involved.

A group of talented players that will be distroyed be an inept and clueless County Board if their latest decision is anything to go by... These very good youth coaches are totally wasteing their time
