Enda Flanagan says the rest of the province will be lining up to wrest the Ulster U21 FC away from Cavan.

The Breffni men, who open the defence of their crown against Donegal on March 18th, are bidding for a record-breaking fifth Ulster championship in succession and Flanagan accepts that they will be seen as the side to beat:

"Monaghan, Derry, Tyrone, Down, Armagh, the whole lot of them, I'm sure, they're all gunning and ready to go," the Castlerahan forward told The Irish News.

"There's not long to go now and I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully everything goes to plan. Donegal have good players. Everybody knows Ryan McHugh and what he's capable of but we'll just be looking towards performing on the day.

"It's very important to keep building. I notice this year watching the seniors that they're flying. They're going really well so hopefully, if we can keep building at U21 level, we can push on at senior level. That's the main goal, push on and win an Anglo-Celt somewhere down the line."
