Ballymachugh GAA Club Notes
May 14, 2012The club will be 125 years in existence in May 2013. The club are already putting a number of plans in place to celebrate this landmark. We urge all our members to make people at home and abroad aware of this anniversary so that they can all join in on the celebrations.
Family Fun Day
The club will hold its annual fun day on Saturday June 2nd. The day will start with a sponsored walk followed by a B.B.Q plus some light refreshments and lots of novelty events events on the pitch for young and old. Sponsor cards are now available.
Juniors
Well done to the juniors on their two victories in the last week which put them top of the reserve division 3 league. The lads defeated Ballyhaise last Wednesday evening 3.11 to 2.7 and Shercock on Sunday 3.11 to 3.6.
Ladies
Well done to the ladies team who defeated St Finbars in Drung on Saturday evening last by 3 points.
Under 14 Girls
Best of luck to the u14 girls team who play Lurgan in the semi final this Tuesday evening at 7.30pm in Lurgan.
Community Games U10 Final
Best of luck to Erne Valley under 10s who take on Sheelin Gaels (Crosserlough & Mountnugent) in the community games final next Wednesday May 16th at 6pm in the 3g pitch. 8 players from Ballymachugh will be represented on the Erne Valley team. All support is greatly appreciated.
