Race Night

Slim a Ton 2012 - Get your runners on the ready….
Shercock G.F.C is delighted to announce Slim a Ton 2012! A meeting to begin organising this year's event will take place on Wednesday, May 16th at 9pm in Hamilton's. Our aim is to make the Slim a Ton better than ever so please come along and bring your ideas! Full details re launch night and registration next week.
Juvenile Players - Ulster Championship Cavan vs. Donegal
On May 20th, Cavan play Donegal in the Ulster Minor and Senior Championship 2012. This will be a great occasion for our Club with representatives on both the Minor and Senior Panels this year. We have organised a bus and Mentors to accompany all 11 to 16 year olds, girls and boys, who wish to attend the game. Cost will be €7 per child and we ask that all take a packed lunch as the first game is at 1.45pm and we hope to leave Shercock at 12.15pm. Anyone wishing to travel, please text 087 7648109 no later than Thursday, May 17th at 7pm.
Ulster Minor and Senior Championship 2012 - Ticket Info
Cavan vs. Donegal on Sunday, May 20th in Kingspan Breffni Park. Minor game at 1.45pm followed by Senior game at 3.30pm. Only the Covered Stand will be all ticket. Admission to the remainder of the ground is as follows:
· Covered Stand - Adult €25, U16 €5 and Senior Citizen €15.
· Uncovered Stand - Adult €25, U16 Free and Senior Citizen €15
· Terrace - Adult €15, U16 Free and Student/ Senior Citizen €10.
There are also a number of family tickets available for the covered stand, Section J only.
Anyone wishing to order tickets for the Covered stand, please contact Angela on 087 7648109 before Tuesday, May 15th at 12pm. No Tickets will be ordered after this deadline.
GAA Social Initiative
Cavan County Board, as part of the GAA Social Initiative Scheme, have invited each club in Cavan to nominated 5 Senior Citizens to attend the Ulster Minor & Senior Championship opening games, Cavan vs. Donegal, in Kingspan Breffni Park on Sunday, May 20th. If you would like to suggest someone (or yourself) to go along, Please contact Angela on 087 9683633 before Tuesday, May 15th.
Kellogg' GAA Cul Camp Summer Jobs 2012
Application Forms now available for the Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camp Summer Jobs.
Minimum criteria for the post are the GAA Foundation Coaching Award. All applicants must be over 16 years of age.
Closing date for application is Friday 1st June 2012 at 5pm.
Late applications will not be accepted.

Cavan Inter County Team Open Evening
Tonight, Friday May 11th from 8pm to 9pm in Kingspan Breffni Park. Come along and meet the Cavan Senior Panel along with members of the Successful U21 Ulster Championship and Hastings Cup Winning Team. Players will meet and greet young people, sign autographs and be available for photos as well as take part in the fun and games including basic skills tests.
