GAA : Cornafean earned some valuable points on Saturday evening when they took on Cootehill in the league. It turned out to be a highly entertaining game with the Reds showing determination and up until the last minute where Gerry Sheridan scored the winning point. At half time the score was 0-05 to 0-06 in favour of Cornafean. Both teams were evenly matched and the score reflected that. In the second half good displays from Paul Brady, Niall Corcoran and Cian Geoghegan ensured that the victory was well deserved. Final score on the day 2-06 to 1-10. Tweet
