12s Blitz Breffni and open days for new hurlers

U12/14;
The under 12s continued their excellent form by winning all of their games at the blitz on the 3G in Breffni Park on Saturday last. The hard work in training is paying off for them.The under 14 league starts in two weeks timeand although relatively young they hope to give a solid account ofthemselves. Training every Wednesday 7.30-8.30 in St. Annes Park, Bailieborough.
Open session for new U12/14 players;
ECG Hurling Club will be holding the first of two open days for new hurlers who may not have got the oppertunity to try hurling in the past. Boys aged from 11-14 who wish to try hurling can drop down to St. Annes Park, Bailieborough on Wednesday 2nd and 9th May from 7.30 -8.30 to try and see if hurling is for them.This invitation extends to all GAA clubs in our catchment area, Bailieborough, Kingscourt, Killinkere, Knockbride and Shercock. All equipment is provided for those who would like to try hurling out. We hope to run the same open days for under 8/10 later in the summer.

Training continues for this group every Wednesday indoors at the Community School Sports hall Bailieborough 7-8pm. €2 each for the hire of the hall please. The weather has not been kind so we will stay indoors until conditions improve.
