Ramor Underage;
Registration fee 2012;
Registration remains unchanged at €25 per player, €50 for two or more players from the same family. This fee includes insurance for the year. No unregistered player will be permitted to play.
It is hoped to commence registration and training for all our underage teams very soon. A text will be sent out from the relevant management teams informing players of training times.
We are looking for volunteers to do First Aid for the coming season. Please contact the Club Secretary; 087-2838151.
As we have a large number of children attending Saturday morning training, we need more parents to get involved please.
For the U-16's the Christopher Sheils Memorial Tournament takes place on the weekend of February 4th at the 3G pitch in Kingspan Breffni Park
Ramor United GFC would like to call attention to the recent publication by George Cartwright entitled 'Breifne Abu'. This 365 page tome is the definitive chronicle on Cavan GAA from 1886 to 2011 and contains an incredible catalogue of facts,figures, scores, teams etc during the period. The favourable mention it has received from both local and national media is well merited and it is unlikely that its equal could be found in any other county in Ireland. This is essential reading for any GAA historian and will no doubt settle many a football argument in the years to come. The book is available in all good bookshops including By The Book in Virginia Shopping Centre. Congratulations to George for his success in this pain staking endeavour and we would encourage our members to purchase this unique record.
