Minor League Result St Josephs 1-11 Bailieborough 4-05

St Josephs suffered their second defeat of the year when the lost to Bailieborough on Sunday last on a score line of 1-11 to 4-5.
St Josephs started well and raced into a six point lead with a goal from Cian Sweeney and two points from Kieran Brady and a point from Gary Tubman. This was as good as it got for St Josephs as Bailieborough took control and scored four goals and two points without reply before half time to leave half time score 1-3 to 4-2.

The first 15th minutes of the second half was slow with a point from Gary Tubman being the only score. The pace of the game improved in the last 15th minutes with St Josephs making a spirited come back with points from Gary Tubman (4) and Cian Sweeney (1). Bailieborough replied with 3 points. St Josephs finished strongly with a point from Beano McEntee and two frees from Gary Tubman. but it was to little to late for the visitors. final score 1-11 to 4-5.

Well done to all those who took part in Scor on Saturday evening in Mullahorn. Great performances were put in by all and the club was delighted to see Matthew Keaney progress to the next round in the solo singing.
Thanks to all who travelled to support those taking part.

Underage Training
Training starts for all underage players (aged 6 to 10) in the hall at 10am on Saturday 13th March.
New players are always welcome. If you child has not been registered you will need to do this on the day.
